Team 98 today announced the release of a new logo, seemingly pulling from the color scheme playbook of the World Champion Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. Drawing inspiration from the Seahawks’ tight-knit, “team first” philosophy, the move signifies a re-branding and team reset after a disappointing loss to Team 97 in the 2013 Phi Alpha Cup.
The new Team 98 logo keeps the traditional team blue as its primary color, a color that was missing from the team’s original logo, and adds neon green trim to give the team a more modern edge. The logo re-design was headed up by designers from Nike.
